Lincoln Park has a loud claim to fame. The MC5, the high-energy rock band that formed here in 1963 and entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2024, came largely out of Lincoln Park High School, home of the Railsplitters. The city keeps its history close too, in a 1938 post office on Southfield Road that now serves as the Lincoln Park Historical Museum. Between weddings at The Lincoln Manor, prom season, and a short hop to DTW, this Downriver city has plenty of moments that suit a Rolls-Royce.
From our Southfield base, it is a straight run south to Lincoln Park. A team member parks the Rolls-Royce at your door and sits with you in the cabin until every control feels familiar.

A rental should be straightforward and done right the first time. That is how we run each one: a car that has been detailed and inspected before it leaves our garage, a handoff at the time we promised, and a team you can reach day or night until the car is back with us.
If the MC5 taught Lincoln Park anything, it is that every band needs the right lineup. Ours has six members. The Phantom plays lead for weddings and formal arrivals. The Cullinan keeps the rhythm for families and luggage. The Ghost and Wraith are the drivers' instruments, the Dawn brings the open-air solo, and the electric Spectre adds a new sound entirely. Choose your bandmate and we will introduce you properly: the specific car booked for your date, its color, and its model year.
Like a setlist taped to the stage, our quote is written down before the show starts and it does not change mid-performance. Adding an encore night or a chauffeur for the reception gets repriced in writing, and you approve it before we adjust a thing.
We charge Lincoln Park residents nothing to bring the car over. Whether it is a bungalow near Champaign Road, the banquet hall, a shop on Southfield Road, or a nearby hotel, we drop the car off and come back for it at whatever spot suits you.
Each car below has a role to play on a Downriver weekend. All figures are as published by Rolls-Royce.
Standing about six feet tall at its normal ride height, the Cullinan gives everyone aboard a commanding view over traffic on I-75 or Fort Street. That height comes with real practicality: five seats, room for bags behind them, and all-wheel drive for icy Downriver mornings. Its 563-horsepower V12 moves the big SUV with no strain at all. Families heading to a reception or meeting relatives at the airport will find it the easiest car in our lineup to live with.
In a city with a rock and roll pedigree, the Ghost’s audio deserves a mention. The updated Ghost can be ordered with a Bespoke Audio system that includes two coneless speakers, called exciters, mounted in the headliner, so sound reaches you from overhead as well as from the doors. Under the hood, a twelve-cylinder engine rated at 563 horsepower works with all-wheel drive to keep the ride serene. It suits a self-drive weekday as well as a chauffeured evening.
Look along the Wraith’s flank and you will see a thin painted pinstripe, called the coachline. On a Rolls-Royce, it is brushed on freehand by a single craftsman at Goodwood, using a brush made of squirrel hair and no tape or stencil, work the same craftsman has carried out for more than two decades. Beneath that hand-drawn line sits our most powerful engine, a 624-horsepower twin-turbo V12, in a coupe with room for four. Take it west for a weekend in historic Marshall, well within our free-mileage radius.
Rolls-Royce set the Dawn’s rear wheels about an inch farther apart than the Ghost’s, giving the convertible a low, muscular stance with strong shoulders over the back wheels. That stance looks especially good with the fabric roof folded and four adults enjoying the open air. Under that long hood, twelve cylinders send 563 horsepower rearward. We keep the Dawn on offer all year, top down for a July photo session or sealed up for a winter dinner.
When Rolls-Royce launched today’s Phantom in London in 2017, it gathered great Phantoms from earlier generations for the occasion, including Fred Astaire’s 1927 Phantom I. The dancer’s car carried a trunk on the back holding his top hat, cane, and dancing shoes. Today’s car still treats every arrival as a performance. Rear-hinged doors open wide, the cabin stays hushed, and the V12 (563 horsepower) works without a murmur. It is our top pick for a couple ready for their first dance.
While developing the Spectre, Rolls-Royce engineers returned to one particular bend near their Goodwood headquarters so often to fine-tune its steering that they started calling it “Spectre Corner.” That patience shows on the road. A motor on each axle produces 577 horsepower combined, and four passengers travel in near silence. In a Downriver January the battery gives up some range, so tell us about longer drives and we will plot charging along the way.
Think of pricing like concert tickets: the headliner (the Phantom) costs more than the opener, Saturday shows cost more than weeknights, and backstage extras like a chauffeur add to the total.
One day for the prom, a long weekend for the wedding, or seven days while out-of-town family visits: all three work, and a longer booking typically eases the cost per day. Meet the full lineup on our Rolls Royce car rentals page, and when your dates are set, call us.
Before the car heads Downriver, we place a refundable hold, and every cent comes back after the post-rental inspection. Since each model carries its own figure, our team quotes it over the phone. Mileage goes uncounted inside 150 miles of where you take the keys, which covers a drive west to Marshall's historic downtown or Battle Creek. Going farther, south across the Ohio line, or over the river into Ontario needs a quick sign-off from us beforehand, and extra charges may be added.
Nothing on this list costs extra in Lincoln Park: the detail before delivery, the inspection, both legs of the delivery trip, the hands-on cabin tutorial, and access to our team overnight.
Whatever the reason, send it our way and you will get pricing in writing.
Are you the performer or the audience today? Performers grab the keys to a Ghost, Wraith, Dawn, or Spectre and enjoy every mile. The audience, meaning couples, graduates, and guests of honor, sits back while a chauffeur handles a Phantom or Cullinan. A weekend can easily include both roles.
Our chauffeurs mostly drive the Phantom and Cullinan, and a few other models can include one too. For a Lincoln Park wedding, our driver can collect the couple at home, park within sight of the ceremony, and glide into The Lincoln Manor's lot as the reception doors open.
A full day is not always necessary. If you only want the Rolls-Royce for the church steps and a portrait stop, ask about booking by the hour.
Three things get checked well before the car leaves our garage.
Your driver's license must be valid, and each Rolls-Royce has its own minimum age, shared with you during booking. Overseas relatives in town for the wedding are welcome to drive with their passport and the license they carry at home. Licenses from Asia, or from anywhere in Central or South America, travel with an International Driver's Permit as a companion. Verification of foreign licenses takes several business days, so start early.
For insurance, we look at three things: full coverage, coverage that applies to rented vehicles, and limits large enough for a Rolls-Royce. Miss one? Temporary protection tied to your rental dates can be bought during online checkout on our booking platform, and our team will happily read through your current policy first.
Start by telling us the Rolls-Royce, the days, and a Lincoln Park address or arriving flight. After the written quote arrives and you accept it, the deposit holds the car and the contract gets signed ahead of time. Payment is flexible: Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay, cash, or any major card.
Weddings, business visitors, and the camera account for most of our Lincoln Park work.
The Lincoln Manor opened in 2017 as a banquet hall seating up to 700, and its bridal suite means the couple can get ready on site. That leaves the car free to shine: a Phantom pulling up for the grand entrance, a Dawn parked with its top down for portraits, and a Cullinan bringing grandparents in comfort. If rain rolls in, umbrellas tucked in each door keep everyone dry.
Lincoln Park's closeness to DTW makes it practical for visitors with business Downriver or in downtown Detroit. A guest collected at the terminal in a chauffeured Ghost or Phantom arrives at the first meeting rested and ready.
For a city that helped launch the MC5, a music video feels right at home. The Classical Revival post office that houses the historical museum makes a handsome backdrop, though filming on public or private property may need permission first. Many shoots need only part of a day. When prom arrives, a group of Railsplitters can pool together for a chauffeured Cullinan or Phantom.

Lincoln Park sits a quick run east of Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport along I-94. Your airline and arrival time go into the booking, and we stage the car to match, delays and all. Want to skip the drive? A chauffeur can have you home in short order.
Homes on every street in Lincoln Park, local businesses, and hotels across the Downriver area all qualify. Our regular routes also take in Taylor, Melvindale, Ecorse, Wyandotte, Southgate, and Allen Park.
